After Class

Series 1: Lemons as a Dance Movement

The first concept explored how dancers interpret a lemon as a dance move. I was enrolled in a part-time dance program that runs every Sunday, surrounded by aspiring professional dancers. Why not get them involved? After getting their consent, I photographed their creative interpretations of what a "lemon" movement could be. Every dancer was cooperative and brought their unique energy to the project. Creating these posts was incredibly fun because I had complete creative freedom and there was no strict brief to follow. If I wanted to break conventional design principles, I could, and it would still work within the conceptual framework I have built.

If anyone was struggling with the task, I'd pull up this Pinterest board for inspiration.

Seeing people's creative interpretations of a lemon makes me smile.
